Herman Was Eaten by a Giant Snake
There was once a man named Herman
And Herman created a place.
He created a place like no other place.
It was a nice place.
It was a comfortable place.
It was a place in a small space.
In this small place it was nice and comfortable
And it was inside of Herman’s brain.
In this space Herman could feel no pain
And didn’t feel any shame.
Here the pain was none.
Here the pain was gone.
Here the pain was away.
Here the place was safe
Where the pain was gone
And he lived very happily in this place.
This place has many houses.
Each house has a chimney.
Smoke came from the chimneys
From the fire that kept Herman nice and warm.
The fire made Herman happy.
The fire made Herman warm.
The fire made smoke come out of the chimneys.
In the houses Herman would drink beer.
He would drink beer and talk with himself
Next to the fire that kept him warm and happy.
He would laugh.
He would cry.
He would sigh
In the houses next to the fire
Which kept him warm and happy.
Herman would laugh and cry and sigh.
One day Herman was standing next to the warm fire
In the happy houses when the fire went out.
When the fire went out
It became dark and cold.
It was dark and cold and Herman was alone.
It was dark and cold and Herman was alone
When he was eaten by a giant snake.
A giant snake ate Herman when he was alone.
